The 5-Minute Morning Reset

Start your day with a simple routine that helps you feel calm and focused for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Introduction

Starting your day with intention doesn’t need to take long or feel overwhelming. This simple five-minute morning routine combines gentle movement, mindful breathing exercises, and a practice of gratitude to help you begin your day with clarity, positivity, and confidence. By dedicating just a few moments each morning to this enriching practice, you set a powerful tone for your day ahead, ensuring that you approach whatever comes your way with a calm and focused mindset.

Step 1

Stand tall and take three slow, deep breaths, allowing each inhalation to fill your lungs completely and exhaling slowly to release any tension.

Step 2

Gently roll your shoulders backwards five times in a slow and controlled manner to help relieve tension and improve flexibility in your upper body. Focus on maintaining good posture as you perform this exercise, feeling the relaxation in your neck and upper back as you complete each roll.

Step 3

Reach both arms overhead and stretch side to side.

Step 4

Take a moment to name one thing you are grateful for.

Step 5

Set one small intention for the day ahead.

That's it. Five minutes, and you are ready to begin.
